"Chun" in mandarin means spring and also egg.
According to Lunar calendar, "lap chun" means the starting of spring or new year.
On other way round, "lap chun" also means stand the eggs^^
therefore, on this day, u can see chinese busy playing with eggs, trying to stand them up..
"lap chun" for this dragon year was on 4th February, and the best time was 6.40pm(based on information obtained online).
it can either be done on a rough or smooth surface^^
